Mk2 16v Ariel seal/ rubber June 19, 2020, 03:53:36 PM Can any one point me in the direction of where I can buy the sealing rubber that sits on top of the roof below the Ariel that stops water getting into the car. Heritage say I need to buy an Ariel as it comes with the ariel. Surely someone sells the rubber seal separately.
Re: Mk2 16v Ariel seal/ rubber Reply #1 – June 19, 2020, 04:00:32 PM Pretty sure it’s basically the same aerial used up to mk4 and I’m certain I found the rubber seal sold on its own on eBay when I was looking for my mk4, but never got round to buying one and no longer have that car.

Re: Mk2 16v Ariel seal/ rubber Reply #4 – June 21, 2020, 02:00:45 PM I bought two cheapies off ebay to use one on my vr6; when they arrived and fitted one it was longer than the aerial base and i had to get correct one from the dealers.Fingers crossed yours are better!
