@Clomojo there's North Bristol meet this Friday. There are a fair few of us along the M5 stretch between Bristol and Gloucester that attend every month, Thornbury, Dursley, Stroud, Quedgeley etc.

The seats will be different. Mk3 seats are wider. So you might be able to pull the covers onto mk2 frames but they will be saggy and it’s likely the fixings won’t line up.

You can fit the whole mk3 seat into a mk2, but you have to cut and weld the base.

Alternatively you could make use of the fabric to repair worn mk2 seats if that’s what you need. Are you any good at sewing?

I believe these were only fitted in diesel cars. And I’ve only ever seen the first one before. I wasn’t aware there were variations.

It's always the way, I come away thinking I wish I'd had chance to catch up with more people. Car looked great.

And I was suffering from Hot Start issues, I had to pop my bonnet between runs too to help with cooling. Nice to actually have the weather though. Even if it did change a bit later on, lol.
