If getting one you need a breathable one so it doesn't sweat underneath.
Also one that has decent tie down straps, one I had previously the wind would catch it and lift it or it would make constance rustling noise.

I've got a 'luxury' one from Halfords after I had my paint done, to keep the workshop cats from scratching the paint.
Was about £60, felt lined breathable, works a treat.

When I ordered my outdoor one they needed to know whether it was a big bumper model, it is so closely fitting. Soft lining and breathable/waterproof outer. They do great indoor ones too.

Not cheap.

I have had 2 of these now and both have allowed water through meaning the felt lining inside and therefore the roof of the car was wet when I took them off? Apparently these are great but I have decided it is best to leave it off than it is to hold water against the car. I definitely made sure the car was bone dry before putting it on so I'm not sure why the 2 that I have had have been useless? 🤔

I've only ever used mine in the workshop, never outside, as every one I've ever seen has been ripped to shreds in a matter of weeks. Not sure the Halfords I have one was marked up as an 'external', can't remember now as it was well over a year ago I bought it.

Still keeps the cats at bay though...

I had exactly the same issues with 2 halfords one after reading loads of positive reviews. My mate swears by the stormforce ones but ive never used one. Apparently the only exterior car cover you should ever buy according to him 🤷‍♂️
