Hello, and welcome there are a few VW specific garages around but for bodywork I would prefer to find a quality workshop , one that won’t charge the earth … I am in Cornwall so can’t help you with anything local to you but there will be garages with a good name
Not sure it was if iirc a black cardboard material (that might have been on my MK1 though) , he said it was good for me as I had the rubber strip, not much use for the strip otherwise …you can see the trim on the edge of the slam panel above the rad core
Oh I will never take these off again, cleaned up well (helps confirm the mileage or that the driver wears slippers) but will be done on the car next time …. (Trying to keep up with L90e..failing miserably)
With the Beetle 4S turfed out room to bring Vincent to mission control, serious thoughts of selling have been dented after a bit of garage time and Vinnie working his magic on me , seats out and hoovered , he is too good to sell…no shampoo but vaxing tomorrow …
Had a black cardboard cover over the top of the rad , it was pretty good not cracked or flaking … it’s gone !! Probably abducted by aliens, question is does anyone have one or have a suggestion for a replacement … needs to be mat black ,3-4mm , fairly waterproof material and obviously good up to rad temperature ….
He has been living with my Mum for nearly two years , 100 miles since last mot In 2019, washer pump has sprung a leak so need to replace it ready for its MOT ….
